Map Extended Pin Content Options

Within the content tab you will find all of the pin's content elements, such as text, images and icons. Anything that controls what appears in your pin will always be found within this tab.

Text

Title

While creating a new pin, you can assign a Title. This title will appear in the infoWindow box when clicking/hovering over the pin on the map.

Label Text

If you enable "Show Label on Markers" setting, then this option will appear. You can have your own custom label text for the pin instead of the title.

Website Text

While creating a new pin, you can assign a website text. This website text will appear in the infoWindow box below the content when clicking/hovering over the pin on the map.

Website URL

This is the URL for your Website Text above.

Email Text

While creating a new pin, you can assign a Email Text. This website text will appear in the infoWindow box below the content when clicking/hovering over the pin on the map.

Email Address

This is the address for your Email Text above.

Content

While creating a new pin, you can assign a block of content text. This text will appear in the infoWindow box when clicking/hovering over the pin on the map.

URL for Marker

This will open up a URL link on the marker depending the trigger method below. Leave it blank if you do not want to open up a website link.

URL Opens

Here you can choose whether or not your link opens in a new window.

Trigger Method

Here you can choose the trigger method for opening up the url link. On click or On Hover. When using "Hover", mobile devices will return to click.

Cover Image

If you choose "Custom Styling" for InfoWindow setting, then this option will appear. Upload your desired image, or type in the URL to the image you would like to display. Show a featured image on top of your InfoWindow so that your visitors can get a better picture of your marker details.

Marker Filtering

Category is a perfect way of segmenting your markers and allowing your visitors to show only certain types of markers on the map. If using Marker Filtering, you should create categories using the Divi Map page(WordPress Backend) by navigate to Divi Map -> Categories.

Map Extended Pin Marker Filtering

Select Category

If you enable "Marker Listing" setting, then this option will appear. You can assign a category or multiple categories to a pin marker. Useful for store location, property agent and etc.

Map Center Address

This is the specific location on the map where your new pin will appear. You can enter the address in a standard format.
